Books
Before school ended, I built up this notion that I was going to read a bunch of philosophy books to take notes and get all informed. All because of my meat and potatoes up-bringing. Usually I take a second position when debating, which I fairly enjoy actually. I just couldn't imagine myself feeling right all the time and nobody was going to tell me otherwise.
So I started reading Why I am not a Christian by Bertrand Russel. I became very confused on somethings he written. Every philosophy book I have skimmed through, the writer seems to wave the "I am a philosopher so I am going to write like one" flag, and the words just get all snarled in my brain. Plus I am too lazy to look them up. So that project will be later(in my life). So I will ask questions for those that know more than me with," Please, Enlighten me!".
With that book put away for awhile, I am reading my H.P. Lovecraft collection now. Very very very good stuff. Now you would think reading some of these tales would keep me awake. His stories actually keep me from wandering off in my head when reading. But no, what do I do, the first 15 minutes of reading The Shunned House I fall asleep. You see this is why I get nothing done.
Now it is now time to keep reading.
(oh, for all you English Majors, where are some grammer problems? I need all the help I can get.)
