I have an idea, and I'm such a big fan of it that I don't care if someone steals it-- in fact, I hope someone else tries to do this (as long as they invite me along and/or give me a shout-out in the credits.) I want to put together a swimsuit calendar, both in protest of the horrendous ecological damage being caused by the oil leak in the Gulf, as well as a fundraiser to benefit repair, containment and animal-rescue efforts. The twist is that all the models will be washed ashore, oil-soaked and "dead" from toxic shock. I don't think anyone believes that oil hemorrhaging into our oceans, polluting our coastlines and killing our wildlife is a good thing, but I think it might hit a little closer to home if they saw the damage it could do to other pretty things.
I'm going to try to execute this in the next couple weeks, presuming I can find a good oil-substitute, enough models to get all lubed up in it (and probably ruin a perfectly good swimsuit,) and a beach to mess up a bit. Anyone who has any advice on any of these fronts, please PM me.
Then we'll see if BP wants to cover the printing costs

lizardam:
Great idea. If we were closer I would model for it.
