I', like, the happiest possible kind of overworked right now. In fact, though I am backlogged and yet still procrastinating, it isn't because I don't want to do the work, but because I don't know what I want to do more.....and maybe also because I have no time-management skills. But I digress.
Though, photographically speaking, the wedding I shot last month was not my best work, I am pleased with how smoothly everything went, and with the average quality of the resultant pictures. There were very few "wow" shots, which was simply my brain not finding the actual "wedding" gear and getting stuck in more of a general event mode, but there was also almost no crap. No technical errors which resulted in 50 blown shots. Only one aunt with an uncontrollable blinking problem. I did 99% of my edits in Bridge, and only needed Photoshop to remove a fake plywood cow from some of the formals (it was classy, though. Really.)
Misa's set will be done, someday. I've been in the high 90%s done for, oh, almost a month now. I spent last weekend learning ten different ways to create a specific graphic, only to discard all of them and just swing with a spatter brush instead. Every frame has been its own education, and if I ever did it again.... no, I'll likely never do it again, at least not on spec. But it rules, and I think Misa & I both did our parts to encourage active viewer participation

I've gotten sick of all my best work being for other people. Even if it's coming here, it's still not mine anymore. So I'm working towards a new body of work for a gallery show in the next few months. I've been compiling figures, landscapes, textures, all for the purpose of multi-exposure digital mash-ups, and I'm hopefully shooting more for it this weekend. I don't know where I'[m going with all this, but I'm happy it'll be mine in the end
Last for now, but not least, I'm going to see two of my favorite SG ladies in the very near future. Miri is gracious enough to let me drag her around in the cold & rain this weekend, and Calista is going to let me shoot some horse (with a camera!) as soon as she has five free minutes to do so.
And I haven't even mentioned my day job

ohhhhhhh time management, a skill of it's own so that you can finally attend to all the other skills that you already have that are more important.
i hear you on the self-produced work front, though. i didn't realize this *bleep* set would kick your ass so much. but maybe your ass needed kicking? anyways, i hope this digital bodyscape thing is well-received, it's the awesome equivalent of all that kick-ass.
