Money doesn't grow on trees, robble robble....
So, the good news is plentiful, but the bad news is pretty darn bad.
I don't have to switch insurance providers! They approved my claim on the break-in within a week, and for pretty much the full amount (minus deductible.) It turns out my company doesn't suck; my last adjustor was just a douche.
So, I could've been in a position to not only replace everything, but swing a couple upgrades. However, I've been dealing with an underpaying job for the last several months and hadn't been able to get ahead (in one case, falling severely behind) on my bills. So I had to make a grown-up decision, and used roughly half my settlement to pay some of those bills, which leaves me.... not enough to replace my camera. Yet.
The biggest paymentl was a credit card, and I used the promise of a big payment to knock down my interest, but it means I have to sit on the available credit til next month (don't ask; they're a crappy card-provider and I'm a crappy credit-wielder, so we deserve each other.) So I either have to wait til almost September to get my camera back, or switch to Canon. Sooooo, I'm gonna wait.
It's okay. It'll give me time to finish prepping Misa_'s set. And you should still go check out Calista's set in MR, pretty please.

if you don't like your credit card you should get a hello kitty one instead.
