I live in a very low-crime area, and yet, for the second time in 12 months, my apartment has been burglarized, and both times, they took my photo gear. They took my camera. Again. Clearly I have a target painted on my house (specifically, my roommate's unlocked basement window, but that's another matter.) So obviously, my choices are to put bars on my windows or to not be here when they decide to come back.
Sure, option C is finally getting my firearms license, but that does no good since both times, they robbed the place while I was at work, IN BROAD DAYLIGHT. So really a gun would just be something even better for them to find & steal than my camera.
The only bright side is that I wiped all my CF cards the night before, so no crackhead, house-wrecking cuntrags are running around with pictures from Misa's set. They have taken too much from me already; they're not getting awesome boobie pictures too!
