Hi!
Well, the good news outweighs the bad, I suppose. And they're actually both the same news.
For the next few weeks, I have a part-time gig with a small (teeny) landscaping outfit on the south shore.
The good news is that is pays more than my full-time job, to the degree that if I can work two days a week I will double my income, which is a source of tremendous relief right about now. And it's outdoors, and it's exercise, both of which have been in short supply for me lately (well, I do seem to spend a lot of time in the rain, but still...)
The bad news is that I now have maybe one free day a week to do ANYTHING else. I'm used to staying up all night to squeeze in half a page of the comic, edit a batch of photos, do a load of laundry, etc., but that day off is always good for mental health, actual shooting, and generally just doing the things that can't be done quickly or in the middle of the night. So, if I'm supposed to shoot with you anytime soon, PLEASE be patient with me, or prepare for a midnight shoot.
In other news, we industrious entrepeneurial artsy-craftsy types at Frame It/Waban Gallery are in the process of designing a whole new line of photo gift items, since the old line met with a very underwhelming response. We are prototyping serving trays, wall clocks and calendars, all of which will include some combination of photos of your choosing and/or digital designs of my, um, designing. We don't have the online store up yet, but poke around the site and e-mail bill@frameitwaban.com if you have questions or just want to give us pictures to work on. Seriously. I'm getting bored. Give me something to do.
The "25 Things..." virus has spread from Myspace, Facebook, wherever and found its way here. I will not be a carrier. So there
