Sorry, I've been kinda out to lunch these days. Current job is sometimes creatively fulfilling, but never financially. New job is still only a fantasy-- see, I understand that the economy's slow and expansion is unlikely for most businesses, but I've gotten three callbacks in six months (against roughly 130 job applications, from MTV to Dunkin Donuts.) That's an average of half a callback a month. And two were from the same guy. The business world has collectively forgotten its manners. I'll even except a form letter. Jesus.
So there's that, and the snow and the cold and blah de blah. The good news is that I've been updating my site (imbrognaphoto.com) in bits and pieces, to try to back up all the wild claims of mad skillz I put in my resum And miri's debut set goes to MR in early March, so that'll be awesome. I anticipate a spike in bubble-wrap sales. MisaMisa's set, "Lawn Games," is still in MR, and you should all go love it to death so she'll make another one.
ALSO, I have this friend. She's in Wales. You don't know her. *ahem* Anyway, she's writing a comic book. I think it's about lost souls, but don't tell her that; she's an atheist. But it's still a great story, and I get to draw it! When I've got the first issue done, I'll see what I can do about showing it off to you guys. At the very least I'll tell you where to buy it.
In conclusion, if I haven't talked to you recently, it's because I've been alternating between debt-based depression and burying myself in work. And I'm running out of work to bury myself in (we've set a slow pace on the comic,) so if you want to give me more, I'm open to ideas.

you know, it's such a toss up with this place. the sets i have done with you have been nothing but rewarding. i think i have been feeling a pressure to be more involved that i need to - it's like i created this obligation to SG in my head. i think i just need to get rid of it, and remember that i need to let it be fun, just like it always has, instead of a hassle.
i didn't buy the obama crossover but i was KIND OF tempted even though i don't read superhero comics...shame on me.
