There's someone who's rapidly becoming a part of my life that makes my stomach hurt and my chest ache. It's been years since I felt like that about anyone. There've only been a sparse handful of people in my life who have felt like this. It's big, and terrifying. And I'm really, really happy.

Even if things implode and there is pain, it's all worth it. Breathing with your mouths together, saying the same words at the same time and then giggling, a single press of lips to skin sending shivers, and knowing every colour in every layer of someone's iris. All worth it.
