It has been a long time since I have updated and I guess now is as good a time as any-
LIFE SUCKS!
No- not all of life, the majority of my life actually is very great. I am getting married in 44 days and I have an interview for a new job coming up...and I have been really enjoying fixing up my house....
Unfortunately I have been emotionally sucked dry by my place of employment. Don'e get me wrong- I lvoe my job. I love what I do, I love the peole that I work with and above all I love the kids I work with....but it is kicking my ass right now.
After a while of the same shitty things happening day after day and the same repetitive disrespect you start to just get worn out...hence high burn out rate in social serivce..hummmmm
But I will move on... I am trying to come up with another book to read- and I am always looking for movies to rent from Net Flix:
So please let me know the following:
1. What is the most recent movie that you have watched and was it good?
2. What book would you recommend?

I just saw the Motorcycle Diaries. I quite enjoyed it. Of course for me it had a touch of personal relevance for a few reasons, so I might have favored it somewhat.
I'm reading The Passion by Jeanette Winterson right now -- a book
omnivorous gave me to read ages ago. Thus far I enjoy it; several passages in the book are are so gorgeously crafted that I found myself reading them a handful of times to savor them.
