First, I don't like the new layout of the profiles. I also don't like the slow ass processing request of the system.
Onward!
*She said to me, "I don't mean to sound rude..."; so flippant, this request to thoughtlessly excuse her inability come up with a phrasing that wasn't based on defending some baseless assault. As though the ringing of a telephone could tear down walls, retaliation involved a message that was either overwhelmingly clear or hopelessly muddled. This sort of confusion lends itself to endless over-analytics; read and reread sentences that deserve no second glance, until, like an overzealous college student you've reached a level of understanding foreign to those grounded in reality. "For clearly the juxtaposition of the parenthetical against the ending clause indicates" that this reader has no understanding of the material.
If only one could ask of the auther what she meant, if she meant anything at all.
Realize, though, that it's too late. Months ago the bridges were burned, the moats were filled with water, and the canons were trained on those charging hard for the castle walls. And while bombs can so simply rip through the most carefully planned structure in the blink of an eye, reconstruction can take days, months, years; or sometimes, the scattered wreckage is left to wrought, not once again standing in its past glory.
My heart may take hiatus, but the memories will always remain vivid.*
Mark the date, I wrote something beautiful for the first time in a long time. Maybe life is around the corner?
