A note on one of the unmentionables: Sex.
--- I love being home. You know why? Read above... SEX. There is lots of it to be had here. And after two months of waiting to be home, and this sneaking suspicion that I would only be naked like once or twice this week, I have in fact, been fucking on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and today. Hopefully, I'll continue the trend.
Oh, and I bought a new car. And it's pretty.
I start working on it tomorrow. The car that is donating it's engine and doorhandles and front suspension/brakes is out of frame to the right. A poor 97 Golf that got slammed by some 16-something teen bitch doing 50 in a 25. Works out better for me because the total I've spent to get everything is about $400.
It might look hopeless to you, but it's a new beginning to me.
Anyone else ever want a new beginning? I do sometimes, but that's usually when I'm watching myself bleed under my own blade. Other times I think, there are one or two things I have right now that I could not live without knowing I missed them, so no, I don't want a new beginning.
So here's to perseverance; let's hope to god I can keep myself safe long enough to see the fruit of my efforts.
Matt
Oh, and this is what it'll look like when it's done!

Anyway, welcome home! I take it that you are in the great Northwest.
