I've been doing glass beadmaking over an open flame for at least a month, so really, I'm surprised I lasted this long without burning myself.
My middle and index finger brushed into the flame when I was making an incense holder, and while it hurt like a mofo, the ladies at the bead shop were really helpfull. The aloe plant helped alot, but I hated the fact that I couldn't drive home, and I had to entrust my brother to drive my new car home in the rain. But at least it was my left hand, and it was a tolerable pain. Still, it's gonna leave a rather gnarly scar that I can use to tell an exagerrated tale of how I got it. Everyone should have at least one scar, though, and if you get to be a certain age without ever having any sort of scars or markings, I just don't trust you.

We got the Simpsons Season 6 on DVD and all night I've been laughing my ass off over the Archie gang tossing Homer out of their car, yelling "And stay outta Riverdale!". I laughed my ass off for 10 straight minutes, and then later on when Lisa compares her and Bart to Woodward and Bernstein and Bart replies "Except their dads didn't stay in the car reading Archie comics". *snorfle* Good God I'm laughing again! Why is Archie so funny in this context? For some reason the idea of imagining A) What Homer was even DOING in Riverdale and B)What he did to offend them just fills me with mirth. Alot of corny old cartoons are like that, a certain way of mentioning them just makes me laugh like nothing else.

LOL I love the early and middle seasons of the simpsons. The new ones have lost their touch, but the classics will always remain classics!
And sorry to hear about the joblessness. That is so frustrating! I hate not getting a job. It's the ultimate humbling experience. After presenting yourself to be judged by a total stranger and answering their silly questions, you sit and wait with hope and fear in your heart... only to get a form letter saying basically "we hired someone younger and dumber than you".
AARGH!
Can you tell I've been rejected before also? You're not the only one who's bitter!
So anyway... what else is new with you? It's been a while since I've seen you on here.
