Lots o stuff to talk about, woot!
School stuff: (mostly boring, and exciting for only me, feel free to skip)
I think I actually like both of my classes thus far. Strange because I was certain with the amount of reading in one and the stupid rules in the other that I would hate them. Give me time, I'm sure I'll change my mind.
I do have some pretty sweet research studies lined up in each of the classes though. I'm thinking about a textual analysis of grief and grieving in the musical RENT, specifically through the 2 versions of the song "I'll Cover You". We'll see how that ends up. I just didn't wanna deal with IRB and people...too much work.
For the other class I'm going to look at why teachers who were trained and received degrees to teach high school speech either don't end up teaching, or leave after a couple of years. I'll have to do interviews for this one, but it's pretty sweet in that scholars don't study this topic from a qualitative perspective, so all that exists are stats but no reasons why. That's where I come in. I am stoked.
I had a good meeting, kinda, about my thesis. I have to start making changes from last semester to what I had, go back to Baldwin, and then to Cheri. I still haven't asked him to be a co-chair yet...but I suppose I should. Grr.
My 110 class is AMAZING. THEE best class I've had thus far. They are all very responsive, and awake and fun. I want to tell them how much I adore them, but I figure I'll wait until I at least know all of their names. I'm about half there!
Non-school:
I've been on a shopping craze as of late...finally buying those things I've been wanting. I also need to stop buying CD's. It's been outta control. I've just been without new music for so long, I kinda went nuts. Every day I have a couple CD's sitting in my mailbox. It' s amazing!!!
I have a cold. I think. It sucks. Certainly having a hard time sleeping.
I'm so hung over right now, but it's not gonna stop me from being a champion tonight. Went to Paulie's last night and saw The Locked Sound, Demolition Derby and The Resinators. Hung with some wonderful and not so wonderful people....the show was ok. I suppose it could been a jam band. ick.
Having girl moments in quantity lately...I hate it. Trying to snap my stupid ass outta them, but it's hard. I can't be a cheerleader for myself all the time, I get tired...and splits are hard.

Woww...I never thought of that. If you're gonna write one...make it good. Preferably a pop-up story.

If you scratch it...and it smells....no. And yes...I think you are a pervert. We have that in common.
