First off, I would like to apologize to everyone for being a bad SG-friend. I've been very neglectful, and have not updated or commented on anyone's journal in way too long. I promise I'll clean my act up and respond to your entries soon.
Well, to completely contradict my previous journal entry, things between J and I are going fairly well. I"m almost afraid to say that, because it seems like whenever I say something is going well, it totally changes. But I'll take a chance, because I've actually been pretty content lately.
So a couple days after I posted my last entry, J called me and we had a nice conversation, and he asked if I wanted to go to a Winterhawks game with him on Friday. I was kind of taken aback, but said yes, and we went out to dinner and then to the game. After the game we hung out with friends for awhile, and it was generally a really good night. He told me he had a really good time, and since then, we've hung out several different times. He came over the other day to fix our shower heads and door handles. On Valentine's day, we went out with a couple mutual friends to dinner and bowling. He gave me a chocolate bar, which he pasted a picture of Napoleon Dynamite on the front, with a quote that said, "It's freakin Valentine's Day....GOSH!!" on the front. I thought that was really cute, since he knows I'm a big fan. So we've spent a significant amount of time together lately, and it's all been really good, but.....
HE HASN'T KISSED ME.
We have had PLENTY of opportunity for it, and it's driving me insane. All the signs seem to point to yes, so why hasn't it happened?? Do I have terrible breath? Gross teeth? We've cuddled, he has been very flirtatious with me...it seems like he's probably talked to his friends about me because when I met a few of them last night, they're like "who are you?" and I'll say my name, and then they're like "oh, YOU'RE Sara....". And our mutual friend assures me that he is definitely into me. I've been told that he was recently really hurt in a relationship, and doesn't want to get close to anybody too quickly, but COME ON BUDDY! It's driving me crazy. Any thoughts/ideas/advice?
