Sys Admin is one of these jobs when if the shit hits the fan in just the right way, you are well and truly fucked.

Looks like one of my core server has been corrupting itself ever so slightly in the SCSI layer. I noticed because my backups were failing for reasons that could not be explained.

I have bad feeling about this. In a small shop, the bearer of that kind of bad news is usually shot on the spot.
