Oooh boy, the year is almost over!
I always think that the next year can't be better than the last one but this time I was specially wrong. This 2019 has been the year with more changes in my life!
As I mentioned in my last blog, I got my US fiancé visa in April so I flew to the states to marry my fiancé in May. We got married in the court house on May 16th :) and obviously I moved to Iowa with him, where I've been residing since then.
Then I joined the @blackheartburlesque for the fall tour. I was on tour for two months so if you went to the show you probably saw me performing :) I had the best time, I loved performing every night in a different city and get to do what I love! If you ask me my favorite number I have to say the new Harley Quinn and Joker (hooping number) where I played the Joker. I LOVED portraying that character!
I also did a singing solo and that was the achievement I'm most proud of. I've always wanted to be a singer but too scared to not be good enough too. This year I managed to pull it off!
I absolutely loved performing as Sabrina Spellman from "The chilling adventures of Sabrina". Did you see it? If so, did you get the reference? I want to know if people recognized the character lol
Two months of tour mean traveling with different girls, living in a bus, sleeping in a bunk while our driver takes us to the next city at night, visiting a lot of different cities, getting sick at least once and even due to some schedule changes having to learn numbers that I wasn't in on the road! I even changed my hair on my last week on tour lol

After the tour I came back home and I did my interview with USCIS to get my green card. I was nervous cause we were expecting for this moment since I met my husband and we didn't want to screw it up. It all went good and I got the card two weeks after!
So right now I'm a permanent resident in the US, I can work here and I can finally travel overseas :)
This 2020 I expect to travel a lot with the @blackheartburlesque touring all over the world! I can't wait to know where are we're performing this next year. For now, I'll be at the AVNs in Las Vegas for a one private show (Jan 23rd). Do you know that AVNs was the first time I ever performed with the @blackheartburlesque? It was in 2018, crazy! So I'm excited to go back where it all started.
This year I want to focus in my singing and making music. It's hard cause during tour time I feel super motivated and confident but then I go back home and my thoughts are just "you're not good enough". And I've been suffering depression since I was a teenager so I have mood swings and when the sadness hits it's hard to even get out of bed (winter time is not helping either). I'm hoping to get my mood back up after the AVNs and keep it as long as I can! Seeing my friends there will HELP A LOT too.
What are your 2020 expectations/wishes?
♥ Happy holidays everyone ♥
