It was a good day today. I now have Family Guy Season 2 in my grubby little hands. muhahaha.
I went to this chain music/movie store in the mall on my lunch break to pick up the above dvd, and I heard them playing the new Iron Maiden cd on the stereo. I listened for a bit and decided I liked it enough to get it. When checking the racks for it yielded no results, I walked up to the counter and asked if they had any copies I could buy. The guy at the register said he'd go check to see if they had any more in the back of the store. As I was waiting, a girl that was covering for him expressed how much she hated the music that was playing. I was about to start waging one of my reputed musical war arguments, but I thought better of it and just smiled and said "I'm buying it." The look on her face was classic embarrassment, and all she could utter was "Oops, sorry." I told her not to worry about it, and that we all have different musical tastes. She just smiled back and tried to find something else to focus on. In the awkward silence that followed, the guy came back and said they were out of that cd. I just shrugged and said ok, pushing forward my Family Guy dvd when the girl, possibly to make up for her earlier remark, suggested they sell me the copy in the stereo for a discounted rate. (then again, maybe she just wanted to stop listening to it. heh) Nonetheless, that sounded like a great idea to me, and I bought both. Family Guy and a cheap almost-new cd. Bonus! I guess it does pay to be nice to people from time to time.

Actually, I eat my food really weird too...I generally only eat one item at a time, beit veggies, the meat, what have ya. In salads, I try to eat the croutons first, then the tomatoes, and whatever chunky think is left and lastly, the lettuce. I'm weird. It drives my boyfriend nuts.
