Brand spanking new blog homework thanks to the lovelies @rambo and @missy and @lyxzen so the big question is have I ever had a paranormal experience.
No would be a lie and boring answer, haha, and though I don't like to admit it because paranormal experiences are seen as very taboo. A lot of people seem to deny the existence of any paranormal activity, I mostly (to be completely honest) deny it myself. Honestly people die and what that person was leaves in the form of their soul or spirit, and thats not always something peaceful.
I worked in a nursing home for four years and saw a lot of death and dying. We had our own superstitions like when someone died we would open the windows. Part of our job was wrapping the deceased up for the funeral director to pick up, which yes meant body bags and toe tags. Nothing like in the movies or tv shows the body bags we had were a water resistant paper plastic kind of thing. Anyway walking through a dark nursing home at night you tend to see things, I never saw anything major. My ex once went in a room late at night and saw a large dark form over a patient and it looked at him and put its finger over its mouth in a shushing motion. He walked out and hours later when they went back to check on the resident they had passed away. Another strange paranormal thing at the same nursing home was residents seeing children. It didn't happen often but if a resident saw a child with a ball they would shortly pass away.
When I was in high school I went to vocational technical school for nursing assistant training and we would go to nursing homes and various places like that. We once toured the veterans hospital which is mostly shut down, a lot of the wings are closed and being "renovated". The old VA as its called here used to be a tuberculosis ward many moons ago when a lot of people died from that disease. So we were walking through the old TB ward and there was just a heaviness in the air, it was also really cold in random spots. It was very creepy in a hauntingly heavy way. People would tell stories about that area, such as lights flickering and electrical issues. I never saw the electric problems myself though.
My last story is very close to my chest and personal. When I was little I would get night terrors and start screaming in the middle of the night and be difficult to wake. I have actually never told anyone this but I remember what caused that screaming like it just happened yesterday. This is probably going to sound cheesy cause I have no preamble or anything because I was always sleeping. Anyway I'd go to bed and sometime in the night a demon, or the devil, would burst out of my floor and drag me down to hell with him. It scared the shit out of me and it still actually scares me. Another thing I haven't ever said to anybody is I am terrified of going to hell because I have spent many nights going there when I was young and it is not a fun fucking place. I still have nightmares about being dragged down to hell. I wish I could put it into words what it was like. Terrifying, hot, smothering, dark, it was hell in every sense of the word.
This last picture is from Drag me to Hell which is a movie that scared me and hit really close to home. That's not 100% how I would describe hell but it is not a bad start.
Anyway I hope you enjoyed my stories that last story really gets to me still. None of the pictures are my own I found them on google just to be clear lol. Goodnight folks try to stay out of hell it sucks there. I'm going to go to bed and hopefully not have nightmares.
