Well, here's my first entry as a SG member. . .hopefully not too long before my first entry as a real SuicideGirl.
Here is my past week in short review:
1. talked to a lawyer about our bullshit landlord. . .who has failed to get our air conditioning fixed, and also to provide Nate and I with a lease to sign. . .with plenty of notice to do so.
2. did some research, talked to the lawyer again, found out that we (as in the people actually on the lease), are free to leave because the landlord broke the law and lease by not having the air fixed.
3. found a great house. . .all custom inside. . .got denied
4. went searching for more houses with Nate while Mike was at work. . .found some sweet houses. . .too bad there are still people living in them. . .the realtor that provided us with these houses failed to mention that.
5. found a house that is pretty decent, but not as nice as some of the other ones. . .got approved
, plus the owner agreed that they would put in a brand new washer and dryer for $25 more rent per month. No more laundry mat 
6. we get to move in tomorrow morning and don't have to deal with this landlords bullshit and lying anymore.
Basically, this past week has sucked, but at least we have a house to move into and Mike will get his security deposit back within two weeks so we can get a decent bed. Well, provided that the landlord follows the law and gives the deposit back in a timely manner anyways. . .if not, she's basically fucked. She will have to give back twice the amount, and I'm sure that she doesn't want a home inspector to walk through this fucking hell hole.
Hmm. . .now to go shock the hunter green pool that she has failed to get the pump fixed on.
