stayed put and accepted a 50% raise. in the end i didn't feel it was worth sticking all my savings into moving cross country when i could stay home and reap a fat raise.

as for the voice of reason, reason smcheason. if he bugs you there's better ways of dealing with him, somehow I imagine that a garage full of large burly manly men isn't short on people willing to jump to your aid, possibly with a big heavy wrench in hand.
