okay... so I have my telephonic interview... Goes excellent... he discusses the details of my responsibilities if I get hired, actually less than what i did the past year.. then he asks me what I am expecting as a salary.... ummm, what do you normally expect when you work in a combat zone... I say, well hadn't thought about it. So he asks me to narrow it down. Like a dumbass, I say 100,000 dollars a year.... he scoffs lightly and says "you can expect more than that..." Fine, but I shoulda went higher.
So, now it looks like they will be flying me into Dulles at the end of the month for my face to face, which will tie in all the loose ends. I guess you can say that it pays not to worry about little things like bombs.
