As of Monday I am 29 years old.
SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are truely as young as you feel because I honest don't feel a day over 21. Ok, I am more mature, more learned, more. . . . .well, more. None the less still don't feel any older than 21.
I think I may have a job. Frankly in the past three weeks this would be the third job I would have had if everything goes right. Those of you that read me know about the whole foods deal(chumps), then recently, last week, I was offered a position as the kitchen manager for a new cajun seafood jazz restaurant that will be opening in dallas soon if they get it together. However, the owners really haven't a clue as to when they will be finished re-habing the place. Then yesterday I had a really good interview with a Retirement living type place to the assistant to the exec. chef. I will hear from them tomorrow whether I get the job and I hope I do because the hours are more conducive for a mother who actually wants to spent time with her crazy baby.
My husband, Milesmarc, also had an interview today with a Danish run Wind Technology manufacturer that seemed to be able to appreciate a Black Educated Man. They were excited that he knew both finance/accounting and the manual labor required in the Wind industry. Hopefully their excitment translates into a job offer.
We need to be out of the house we are staying in, which belongs to and is also occupied by my husband's friend and his wife, by Thankstaking. Which means we desperately need good paying employment very, very, very soon. We found an awesome loft complex in South Dallas that will plan to move into when everything falls in place. We will be renting but in a year or so they will make them available for sale and they are soooooooooooo worth it and will be even more so when the area is finished being rebuilt.
Thank you to you guys and dolls that sent me birthday greetings.
