Welcome to Willmar, MN. Aka, the middle of frickin nowhere.
I seriously don't feel comfortable in this town. After coming from a big city like Dallas, it feels like this town is crawling with serial killers and rapists.... of course, that could be due to the fact that on the entire 18hr trip up here me and my girlfriend were reading a book on serial killers...
But that's beside the point. This town is creepy. No... quaint would be the word...
So I'm pretty much stuck here until the middle of May when I finally get to go to Denver. Which sounds more and more appealing every day. Just the idea of not seeing the same people every day in the same places is a wonderful proposition...
That's just my take on this town. By all means, it's better than Perry, Oklahoma... that place was worse... but Willmar feels like it's stuck in a '72 horror film.
How do I find these creepy towns...
