So I just walked in the door from my bike ride,...which was lovely. Did I mention it's damn muggy out. I rode about 8 miles or so. Dodging near death with passing by motorists is always exiting. I figure if I keep mostly to the side streets I could avoid wearing the helmet. Now I'm starting to have second thoughts. I think people actually swerve towords me. Basterds.
So enough about me, how you doin'??

and put the motherfucking helmet on. you don't want your brains all over some bug-encrusted grill, do you????
Indeed, I was born in brooklyn - I've also lived in Queens and Connecticut (which is really just a huge suburb of the city ), about an hour north. And you're right, NYC is incredible... but no matter, I hate the east coast. Fun to visit...not so much fun to live.
I've been in Portland for a little over a month now. Yet it seems no matter how many times I've been asked why I moved here, I still can't seem to come up with a legitimate answer. I missed the west coast terribly, and it just seemed like a good place to be. So far, I haven't been dissapointed yet
Edited because I can't spell today.
