Last blog... JULY 29th! WHOLEY CRAP!!! (Yes I did mean a crap in its complete form.) Time to sum up the last month...
Went to work...
Got home many hours later...
Crashed on my couch...
Got up to go to work...
Wow that is really sad.
I found myself with a free ticket to a concert the other day. I had always heard of these elusive free concert tickets. I have now come to know of 3 people who got free tickets to Metallica when they last toured Australia. ALL IN THE FRONT MOSH PIT! I was pissed cause I had to stand in the back section because they had sold out of the front mosh pit by the time i bought my ticket. (I bought my ticket, 45 minutes after they had been released for sale by the way.) Lucky fuckers.
Since then I have known many who got free tickets to events because one of the friends couldn't go to the event for some verious reason or another. I had always wondered when such a ticket would find its way into my hands. Alas it happened... to Disturbed...
In going to the event I was very much looking forward to getting out of the house, while not really looking forward at all to the music. (I have been a hermit of late. Playstation 3 has taken over too much of my life at the moment.) So there I was, standing in probably one of the softest metal crouds I have ever been in, trying to comprehend what P.O.D were doing up on stage, wondering if free tickets are usually like torture.
I was pleasently surprised however in how much I got into Disturbed when they finially come on stage. It took me back to when I was a young boy, newly discovering Metal while drawing manga when I was still going to high school. At one stage I found myself banging my head to The Game, one of the better songs they have. It was at this stage I hoped no one I knew was at this event... which is a contridiction to what I am doing now, telling all of you. Anyways, at the end of the night, I had a better time then my gf, who's friend bailed on her, hence my free ticket.
Keep Rocking Suicide Girlies!!!
