Back from Maui and was the best. I have never been to Hawaii and I am already planning a trip 2 in another few years, want to hit China first this time next year.
I pretty much was a fish the whole time in Maui with starting my days at 6:30AM in the water snorkeling. The highlight being near the last days a sea turtle brushed me and swam about 5ft along my side until it lost interest in me and headed back for the depths. I would have followed if scuba gear was attached.
The first thing I am going to do is get scuba certified so next round I can get a little deeper. I tried out some underwater digital photography but out of about 400 images only ended up with about 10 really hot images. Found that my best pics were when I dropped down about 15ft and could get beyond the top currants. Little to hard when top self with me moving and the fish moving to get the best photo opts. Still a great learning experience.
