Recently restarted my SG membership here and went looking back through all my old posts. Coincidentally it was a little over 10 years ago that I made my first post. Some blathering on about getting rid of a black box of no posts. I read through all my posts mostly my musings on things or what was going on at that point in time. There was a period of time I was writing posts about the trials, tribulations, and break ups with my then girlfriend that were painful to read and relive again so I deleted them. Not in an attempt to purge her from my memory but because I feel they didn't contain anything really eloquent. It was a younger and less experienced me whining about being broken hearted. So what's my take away from reviewing my brief history that was captured here? I was younger and dumber (hehe) and heartbreak sucks. Nothing terribly profound. Now going forward is where I hope to make my forthcoming 10 years of posts worthwhile, full of love, and hopefully a companion. Maybe a family of my own? Pic for posterity. Beard for Comic-con.
