terry was off sun-thursday for paid vaca. time. it was pretty nice having him home for a 5 day stretch. but it was also kinda nice to see him go back yesterday. no offense my sweet husband, but we tend to get under each others skin being around each other 24/7.
we went on a family trip to the nashville zoo. our little angel had a really good time. we went thinking that she would love the elephants and monkeys the most, but it turned out she loved the fish best of all. when she saw them she started shieking "A FEE! A FEE!" it was just soooo cute! we think she'll like the other animals more next time we go (prolly next summer) she'll be 2 1/2 then. it was cute when we left the elephants though, she said "bye-bye bumbo" (dumbo)

isn't this weather just fucking great?!?
if only it'd stay this way all year round. *sigh* i just love the smell of fall. cold wind on my face. breaking out the red leather trench. hell yeah.
and the scenary is just beautiful. esp. here in Tennessee. most people associate TN with rednecks and cows. but there is alot more to it than that. back in my hoodlum teenage days i wanted nothing but to leave this state. but really i couldn't picture myself living anywhere else in the world. perhaps it has something to do with having a husband and daughter now. i dunno.

to celebrate this great season i think i'll go out tonite and buy a new scarf. i got my eye on a green knit one at walmart. yeah, i buy some clothes from walmart. i think i would die without walmart. it's a great place for po' folk like me.
