Ok, so I'll admit that this is a bit of a tipsy post. But it seems that a lot of my friends and people I knew in college are married or at least in a relationship. Now, everything I see and everything I read tells me I need to be more aggressive, yet aloof, in approaching women. Now, that's not my strong suit. Why can't women be more aggressive as well? I mean, I hate how all of the onus is on the man. If a woman thinks the man could be intersted, and if the woman is also interested then she could very well make herself available for dancing, conversation, drinking, or whatever. Of course, I'm glad that JBD (those are my peculiar initials for her) did that last week. She sidled up to the bar next to me to order a drink, and whether or not she found me interesting, I don't know. But I was able to strike up a conversation. But seeing her again is problematic, I think. She lives a few hours away, and so I told her to call me next time she was in town. She did call on Monday, but she ended up not showing up. Oh well. I do hope she calls again. Not so much for relationship material, but everyone needs some lovin' sometime. Anyways, women should be more aggressive and not be as passive.
