This is, how you say... living in shambles???
So, if you don't know already... our happy little home is under construction.
Today I was awoken to the sound of many men, carrying tubing, and dropping it... just outside my bedroom window, so as all I could hear was the clinking and clanging of metal tubes upon the ground. As well as the loud obnoxious comments of our construction workers.
Yesterday, I was awoken at 8 to the sound of men knocking on my door... knowing already what was instore for me, I ignored them and went back to sleep. At 10 they came a knocking again... this time I stumbled to get dressed and headed to the door to let them in... a couple of our finest mexican construction workers... arms full of dry-walling gear to fix out windows... atleast they put on little blue booties when they come into our house to make a mess.... thats a nice touch.
I promptly went back to bed after letting them in... they were still working away on the stairwell window when I finally arose from my slumber at 1pm. I love holliday sleep in days! I hate construction workers in my house. I think there were 4 of them in total.. one in Lauras room... one in the dining room/kitchen, and 2 on the stairwell... makes you feel like a bother in your own home...
Anywho... Philippe and I just got in from photographing in the courtyard of our complex (what you see out my bedroom window)... theres lots of scafolding there, and its all lit up all pretty like. And its raining on it. So I guess it's not all bad... So we climbed up and took some lovely pics, and heres one for you all to enjoy...
