We had wanted to do turkey, but read that they fly, thus creating the need for slightly more proper housing... we are pretty, how shall I say, laid back about housing our chickens (their outdoor shelter being simply some old doors leaning up against the barn). I know the chickens can kick quite hard during the decap process -- I can't imagine having to SIT on a turkey to keep it still during the death throes, but I guess like most things, we'd get used to it.
