Morning comes and I'm....up on time again....
Well, kind of. I was supposed to get up at 10.00am, but it was warm in bed damnit...and I'd not really had 6 full hours of sleep, more like 5. I knew it was probably a mistake to put on Mussorgsky's "Night on Bare Mountain" on to try to fall asleep to.
You just can't do that to Russian classical music. Just when you come to a quiet meandering bit, crash, bang, wallop - in comes a cacophony of cymbals. Its like listening to Mogwai.
But, I digress. I eventually got up at 10.45. At least when I got to the bank the queue was bearable and I wasn't stood around waiting in tired monotony for too long. Then it was onto the health shop to get some Fentimans products.
Now, they're essentially soft drinks, but because they are naturally brewed, they have 0.5% alcohol in them. They are perfect for the morning after the night before. I strongly recommend the Curiousity Cola.
Then it was back to home for lunch - a lovely Tuscan Bean soup - and then onto the rest of the day, which I'll play by ear. The stats show that the more often you make plans, you'll have a more than 1 in 2 chance of them going awry.
A decision on the day will be made later - based around weather, money, friends and mood.
Now playing: Emperor X - "Sfearion" (download it!)
