i asked a question yesterday, but didn't get many responses...

of course, i was begging people to buy me slippers....

what is your sense of duty?

here's mine:

my sense of duty is to me, first and foremost. i am a warrior in the same war we all fight. the one against ourselves. a battle that wages everyday. by having self-honor, and a sense of duty, i defeat the most humanistic of impulses that would defeat my soul from gaining any knowledge. i could take the easy way out, but wisdom is purple heart earned only by pushing through the challenges. remember, we never learn anything when our life is going perfect. it's by those challenges we defeat that we gain insight.

today's question: what is a simple pleasure you hold in high reguard?
