Look at what I did last night!!!
I'm calling it "Cupcake".
It's 24" wide by 32" high.
Oil on canvas.
I'm completely in love with it!
I have crept slightly, silently out of my box and quickly scurried right back in. But it was exhilarating to paint something with so much color! Nothing I have ever done was this bright.
I want to paint more. Right now. I want to burst out of the box armed with oils on brushes in both hands.
But I just have to sit here. I have nothing to paint on.
I can't strip the walls like I did when I was a kid. This isn't my house.
Wait a minute!
I've got an idea.

1 hour later:
30 minutes after that:
I didn't have any canvas, as previously stated. So, I dug through my tub of fabrics.
I'm not all painted out, but the babies are both up.
And I should probably get started on dinner in about an hour.

As for the updates, I'm very impressed by your problem-solving, and you already know I'm a fan of your work. "Clever girl." (heheh)
I do like the variety, seeing the different colors, another facet to your art.
