For those of you that don't know: My set has been pushed back to June 4th at 9:29 pm. That's the day after my friend Crystal's birthday. The same friend who wants a painting for her birthday, but won't tell me what she wants a painting of.
And for those of you that didn't watch my Ustream: The Zombie Lamp is now molded!
Okay, I'm aware that I had a torso already molded, BUT it would have been twice as much work to convert it to a lamp as it is to just mold a new one around the lamp parts. So, I molded a new torso around the lamp parts. They will still both be zombies, but only one will be a lamp.
This is the non-lamp. It won't take very long to dry. I just added some fat to her, because she was way too skinny. I will most likely get her painted by tomorrow. And might be up for sale Friday. I still don't know if I should put it on my website or in my shop on Etsy. You tell me.
This one might not be dry until Friday or Saturday. So, she'll be painted and glazed this weekend. I might put her up for bid on eBay, because I've had a lot of interest. I might just give it to the first person that gives me a good offer.
I did apply at two different jobs today - in an attempt to pay off that stupid defaulted loan. I applied at Sherwin-Williams and at some furniture place to sell children's furniture. Why not? I was tempted to try to go for a maintenance job, but I never renewed my certification. I probably wouldn't remember anything I learned in trade school anyway.
I'm worried about my mother. She's working too hard. My sister said she picked up some extra shifts at work. Her blood pressure has been reportedly low. She retired and then my sister had surgery and got behind on her bills, so my mom is helping her out and that's why she's in Missouri working 50 hours a week. I'm worried she's going to have a stroke. I just want to take her to France and let her paint and explore and do things she never got to do when she was a young single parent of 5 children.
I think that's all that I have tonight. Jeez, I ramble a lot! I hope you guys don't mind all of my tiresomely long blog posts!

I love it. I should send you an image of the torso my son made 10 years ago in St. Louis. It's in my house in a nook and it looks so elegant, like yours.

Boo to the pushing back of your set I say! The torsos are looking real nice. Good luck with that job hunt. Sounds like your mom needs a little R & R. Take it easy!
