A few bits of news while I am away on vacation here in Berlin.
First, I had a crazy first night out last night. Met up with a friend of friend, Dave, a expat House DJ who has been here for 2 + years. He and his boys have a sunday afternoon/night party at this bar on the bank of a canal. Half of the bar is just one big dock and othe other half is floating and is tied to the dock. Weeping willows cover most of it...add some crazy lights and projections and you get an amazing scene. As they were finishing Ricardo Villalobos showed up directly from some plane ride from somewhere... if you don't know hes a Chiliean House DJ that leans more toward the micro house / minimal Techno scene. He was amazing....maybe it was the drugs but I had the best time I've had in years. Amazing venue, Amazing music, really cool people... Berlin rocks.

Thursday is that start of Teso. The night my friends I have at the new club MOVIDA at 28 7th Ave South @ Leroy. Its an equisite venue with an amazing sound system.

August 19th is the next African Underground African Hip Hop Throwdown at NUBLU 62 AVE C between 4th and 5th. Its gonna be massive.
