fellow derby girl is my new audiologist and I got the cute derby girl hookup. still scary and new but i think i can get used to them with the exception of large gatherings and concerts and such. Yay

Just got picked up for the deaf/hoh pickup team in the roller derby world! so stoked and cant wait to kick ass with these amazing skaters and women.

Thats awesome news. I  was at a tryout for a hockey league in evansville while on the next rink was a roller derby match. After the match some of the girls came over to watch us play. After, in talking with the girls, and watching some of their next match, i gained a real respect for the sport. Great job. I hope you get all the success you can

That is awesome.  I am very happy for you and i am sure that she is extremly proud. Keep your heritage alive. Does that include native toungue and oral traditions? What nation are you?

not native tongue, I am Choctaw dominant by blood but she married into Chickasaw. However my grandmother lived with Navajo friends lol. but she taught us traditions and dress and food :) My mothers side is Muskogee and French.

I broke up with one of my partners due to her constant negativity, I will however always be her best friend. I just cant handle someone who is never positive or happy about anything. However now I am feeling a bit sad cause she is an amazing person. but it was the right thing to do I think, for both of us.
