I filled an aquarium today

The fish that swam there sat and watched

I kept dripping in salt water drop by drop

The castles began to crumble

The pirates treasure turned from gold to rust

The little scuba diver was strangled by his cord

The bubbles flowed from the tank into the air

And as I cried I looked and saw the fish crying as well

I took each of them and let them go

I saw them wave goodbye

They fell from my heart to the water with each drip from my eye

I went home and threw myself into the aquarium

There I drowned
