Remember when freedom of speech was a right? or the freedom to peaceful assembly?
Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.
Hmm yeah neither do I anymore. Remember things like this when you vote, remember your rights... because slowly they are disappearing.
When you look at demonstrations in America do they remind you a bit of demonstrations you see in a third world country? Of course there are no tanks or firebombs, however if you look at the police guarding these peaceful assemblies, well don't they look like they are ready for firebombs?
Or if the cop in the white up there had a tank that maybe he would use it? Maybe I sound like some kind of commie, whatever. I just think maybe sometimes we get so caught up in ourselves and comfortable with our lives that we forget our rights are slipping away and even worse sometimes some just don't care.
Support your rights! Support protestors!
