I got the alphabet down. I learned some nouns and verbs and some verb conjugations. Then I got into the adjectives and they started kicking my ass. It may have been better if I had been taking a class or something, but I was trying to teach myself. I love the way the language sounds and many of my favorite books were written in Russian, so I wish I could get back to it and learn it. But I haven't gotten around to it...
