Whew!! .....I'm glad that's over.
I avoided updating yesterday, cause i knew anything i wrote would come out cynical. I'm not a valentines hater. I just don't see the point. The way you treat your s.o. should be to the best of your ability at all times....and should completely invalidate the need for valentines day.
But then again...who can argue against another excuse for bedroom debauchery?
I can....but i won't.
But it actually was a good day. Every person i know is single at the moment.
So it's not like i was surrounded by couples.
In fact me and a friend went for a walk, in a park near the cove, and came across a couple breaking up. hahahaha.
I'm sorry, but that's just too funny. It made my whole day....
I may be single this valentine's day....but at least i didn't get dumped.
But i still didn't have anything to do in the evening. And for some reason, valentine's day can't be just another night. You have to have something to do in the evening.
Even if it's watching a marathon on tv. Except my tv is busted.
So i cooked for some people.
I made some garlic lemon chicken, with some Trinidadian plain pelau. And some skinned baby potatoes, baked in olive oil, with baby carrots, asparagus and rosemary.
Washed down by some Casal Garcia portugese wine.
Fucking hell i love to cook.
So this is my plan for next year. Instead of everybody sitting at home wallowing and/or excessivly maturbating....I'm going to get all my close friends together, and cook them dinner.
I think we should all band together to change Valentine's day from a couples holiday, to a getting together with friends holiday.
Couples can attend of course. But are not allowed to retreat into a corner to make-out. At least until everyone else is drunk.
So it has been said.....So it shall be done....

ooo i have a new flavor for our exotic oreo line. pina colada. its good, they're good, hey it could work.
yah i was looking at a camera for about the same price.. well in there. fuckin shoot me or at least give me a winning lotto ticket.
i should sell my jeans on ebay. but then i wouldnt own anymore. i am, after all, a klutz and even more so when i tend to get tipsy. its all good. maybe i can afford my camera then hehe.
