I survived the GRE, the holidays, and a crumby cold. (See, this is why I think I'm Wolverine...)
It's is such a relief to have things back to "normal." Now it's time to get back to my thesis project, work and running.
My next marathon is the rescheduled inaugural Pasadena Marathon in March, so I have plenty of time to get back in shape. I haven't run in a couple of months, and my legs have turned into jelly. I have a lot of work ahead of me.
Other than that, no news is good news. I just have to be patient and wait to see if all my efforts pay off in the form of a PhD program acceptance letter in the next few months. Regardless of the final decision, life will be very different by the end of this year.
