I'm currently freaking out about taking the GRE. I decided to go ahead and apply for grad school for next year, but my previous GRE scores are expired. Now, at 31 years of age, I have to go back and take a standardized test will will show the universities that although I am quite the math genious, I have the vocabulary of a 14 year old. It's discouraging to think that despite all my success in the field of chemistry, the fact that I don't know too many big words can keep me from getting into a school to further study chem. I hope I can use all the tiny words I know to write a personal statement that convinces reviewing boards that I am not a dummy! That's the only chance I have!
On another topic, how much does California Prop 8 suck?
A friend of mine forwarded this link to the online petition to me:
"Re-Open Proposition 8 for California"
Please take a moment to read it, and add your name to the list if you agree that any two people deserve the right to marry.
