I hope everyone enjoyed their cheesey holiday. I'm not a big fan of Valentine's, but I will remember this year's, fondly, as the day I got my keys to my new apartment. I am beyond happy.
We got our keys on Wednesday, but moving has been a very slow process due to conflicting work schedules. Also, there are some serious logistical issues, even though we are just moving two buildings down the same street.
Yesterday, I started moving whatever I could carry, while Dmuff was at work getting his butt kicked with a 13.5 hour shift, and each trip went something like this. Exit first apartment, take 10 steps then 5 stairs. Struggle through back door of apartment building and then 3 stairs. Walk about 20 steps to a heavy locked gated. Struggle through gate. Walk 20 steps then 4 stairs then 20 more steps to back door of new building. 3 steps to locked back door. Struggle through door, then up 5 more steps. Continue to new apartment door. Needless to say, I didn't make too many trips.
I did, however, scrub the hell out of the bathroom. It must have been quite a sight, me in my underwear with yellow rubber gloves on, inside the tub for better leverage. I was a cleaning maniac.
I also put some stuff in the closets and started to line some drawers, but that was about it. I went back to the old apartment, went to sleep and woke up, all before Dmuff could get home. Amazing.
What else...
Have I mentioned that the LA Marathon is in 2 weeks?!?

A picture with you in the tub would be priceless
