Time is deceiving. When we feel pain, each hour is an eternity. Yet once alleviated, we crave more. For a change, I am not only content, but beyond happy.

School, work, marathon training, organization chartering, grad school applications, and now, love. Things could not be going better.

It is no wonder that the days since August have flashed before my eyes. The next four weeks will be no different.

By the end of November, I will be in my new surroundings, away from the place that used to stand for so much and used to be my sanctuary. I am leaving my first apartment, which I have lived in for over six years. I am leaving the bubble that I used to hide in. I am leaving the past.

Now, as I prepare to sort my belongings, I look around and find that so many things that I have collected and cherished throughout the years no longer hold avail. I don't need any of it anymore. These past few months have made what was once my home a mere stepping stone.

San Dimas is no longer my home, and once I go, I probably will never look back.

There are no words to describe the excitement in my heart as I embark on this new chapter. I am truly blessed and couldn't have asked for a better gift than what awaits me in the city.
