This past weekend, Dmuff and I turned $200 into a refrigerator, a 5-piece dining set, 2 leather office chairs, and lunch. Our townhouse is really coming together.

Is it just me, or do the female American Gladiators give you that funny feeling in your lower regions? blush
turbulence:
Sounds cool!

So there is KY wrestling in American Gladiators now!!!????

I'm sure it's not *just* you, but I'm a little undecided...

It seems I went missing for a while again, huh?

Everything is still going ridiculously well in my life. Dmuff, Griffin, and I are in the middle of packing up our apartment. We are moving to a big, beautiful townhouse in the valley on Saturday. Then at the end of the month, we are heading to Maryland to visit Dmuff''s family. Also, work is still...

Yesterday was such a great day. Dmuff took me to Disneyland! I hadn't been there in years. It was so much fun and so good to finally get to spend some time together. Damn our opposite work schedules!

Tomorrow morning I am planning on running my last long run before the LA marathon. I hope it goes well. March 2 is the big day. eeek

You...

It's been one hell of a winter.

My life is still going stunningly well. As for the people in my life, well, that's a different story.

Lawsuits, injuries, illnesses, crappy jobs, job losses, prison time, and alcoholism pretty much sum up the issues that have afflicted the people I care about.

Being emotionally drained is a terrible thing, especially when you are so helpless and...

I'm back from Hawaii!!

The marathon went great. It rained at the start line and during the first hour, which made it super fun!! I took it slow to nurse my ouchie knee (and heavier body due to lack of training because of said knee). My time sucked, but i was way more important to me to finish strong and healthy. Mission accomplished! I conquered...

3 weeks until I leave for Honolulu!

I did a "practice" 26 miles this past Saturday. My team and I ran through Santa Monica, Venice, and Brentwood at a nice and easy pace. I felt great afterwards and am ready for Diamond Head.

I'm currently at work, babysitting a 200 gallon reaction. I've notice that lately I am only active on this site when I'm...

Note to self:
Do not take 3 weeks off from running right before your next marathon.
Also, do not run a marathon wearing shoes that are too worn to support you. blackeyed
And, look into that yoga thing. Runners seem to benefit from it, and all the cool kids are doing it.
miao!!
anjuli:
Thanks for that... I've always know I've had two parts to my personality. The really creative and chaotic side and the linear and more controlled side. Yup finding a way for both to be happy is a really good thing. And yeah look into yoga it has been helpful not only for my running, but just life in general!!!
turbulence:
Well you need to find the muscle training for relaxation and the counter muscles for running. But you are right about the shoes...

You are cooler than the kids smile

How's Dan?
