So this weekend came and went and I almost left it legless...
but I'll start with Friday... this girl Laurie came over and we watched Reefer Madness, she seemed to enjoy it quite a bit and I'm a history nerd so I was able to tell her all about William Randolph Hearst and the American Herald and how the real behind the scenes reason that marijuana was made illegal was because Mr. Hearst was afraid that the newspapers that were made out of hemp would overtake his paper and he wouldn't make his millions. So he used his very influential paper to talk about the evils of marijuana.
As stated in the last song of the movie "When dangers near, exploit their fear!"
Anyway, she left and I ended up going to the bar with Lori, met some new people who's name I don't remember at all. Then I came home and drank a little more and went to bed.
Saturday I'm not sure what all happened during the day, but about an hour before we were going to go to Darkest Hour I was being stupid and running around the house and up the stairs to my room, tripped on the first one and my shin hit the corner of the last one effectively taking me out of commission for about an hour. I swear I have never felt pain like that before.
Then we went to the show, met up with Corey and John and Matt and Rachel and all them. Got shit faced, then went back to Johns house. The show was ok, but nowhere near as good as when I saw Darkest Hour back in 2002. Then we hung out at Johns house and everyone just got drunk. Sunday I mostly slept, then went and ate dinner with my parents and my brothers wife as she was in town visiting her family.
Then micheal came out and brought "Fido" a movie about a boy and his zombie.
The girl who's name I don't know is still quite sick, but hopefully she won't lose interest in me before I see her again, that would be a bummer. Hopefully she'll get better by this weekend so we can do something...
