So I've ran into some old friends of mine from high school recently and the one thing that always seems to come up is the topic of religion.
In high school I was a very devout christian, I'm not anymore. But somehow they can't seem to get it through their heads that I am not religous anymore and have no desire to be. And whenever I tell them I don't want to talk about it because I find that it's senseless to discuss religion with christians because there will be no resolve and they automatically bust out with the "Yeah people don't like to debate stuff when they know they're wrong!" and truthfully, the reason I don't want to debate is because most christians will get into a position that holds no logic whatsoever and bases it's entire position on faith, and if I don't have that faith then what use is that in an argument? But I digress
I just wish they would shut up and leave me alone about it... geeze... why is it so hard for people to accept change?
Anyway... I'm going to see Barack Obama Saturday in Austin (hopefully) so if anyone from the Dallas Fort Worth area wants to go with me let me know. It's $25 unless your a student, then its $15, and you have to pre purchase from a website.

That's hot.... The weird thing about your blog is that you will find that most people will never change, and therefore, they think that you, just like them are the dime a dozen never changing type. I'm Catholic, and tru8st me, I get it all the time from Christians..... Welcome to the world of all those who realises youth slips, adventurous times slip, so why not hold on to something that is historically invalid? I'd love to debate with one of those types. I have Mormons that come to the door because I can give em a lesson in religious theology that no one I have met can argue with.... who's holier than thou, and what about hypocrisy being the 8th deadly sin.....? oops, there goes the neighborhood
