So I have been debating over what to write next. Having been kicked out of SGNY has been rather traumatic for me. I could go into details but I would rather not. I actually wrote quite a long piece justifying my behavior, but it the end it does not really matter. People are going to think what they like.
Bottom line is that I still have a few friends left in SGNY, more in SGPhilly.
But I am not sure I want to go out too often with these friends. They tend to invite other SGNYers to their events. And as I do not want to cause anyone to feel ackward in my presence, I am not entirely comfortable going. I will never know if the person I am with is someone that thinks I am creepy, and did not want me around as part of SGNY.
This sucks!
SGPhilly has let me back into their club, so that feels good. But again, it will be a while before I go down there for a party.
Meanwhile I still have my old friends, my new friends, school, gallery hopping, the Met, Great Small Works (theater company). Life is still good.
