The Left Coast was great! I got to swim in the Pacific with my favorite lab Dotty and run on the Beach. Almost did not come home, but life must go on!
Thursday was T Day with the brother, sister in law and nephew along with my 2 favorite cousins. No fighting, no arrests, no tearful arguments; it almost did not seem like a regular Thanksgiving but it was still nice! Cannot believe the kid brother has a wife kid, job, and house! Who is the younger brother again!?
Friday was spent in the Antelope Valley getting rid of an old van that I have been storing on my step grandfathers property. Went through 6 footlockers of old books and Army gear. Got it down to 2 duffel bags that I brought home. The rest was off to the Salvation Army. The van went to a local VW dealer for parts. Spent a year in that thing after I got out of the Army. Fond Memories.
Friday night was off the the step brothers house. Another happily married man with 2 kids. Is everyone hitched but me?! Great guy, former Army trooper, now computer guru. Another great career in the making.
Sat was back to little brothers to go thru the van haul and to drop off some stuff. Went to a party Sat night, White Elephant type where you each take one gift from a pile, and steal form each other. Great greedy Christmas tradition! Work Party for my bro so I had to embarrass him, of course! Great bunch. Got a little too loud and a little too reckless, as is par for the course, but thats just the way it is. Kept it to a dull roar this time, as I did not want to totally ruin the little bros rep at work! Lol
Sunday was back to Long Beach, my favorite cousin, an old friend, dogs on the beach and swimming gin the Ocean. Life cannot get much better.
Today was back to school. Got the Modern Physics, and Calc 2 teacher that I want for next semester. I finally get to learn the secrets of the Universe! Now if I just were not so damn broke! Lol
I dont want you to think that life is all hunky dorey for me. Still facing rejection from friends, still broke, still not even close to re starting a career or relationship, still pining for a lost love who joined a cult on me, still stuck in a small apartment with crazy people, still want a bigger But a good week like the last one goes a long way.

Yes, actually they get along great. The Mastiff (Tibetan mastiff) is older & most definitely the alpha - the pug is younger & concedes to the bigger, older, smarter dog. But the pug gets his desserts too, believe me!
